Saskatchewan magic

A setting sun
Receding heat, calm air and … quiet
A doe, a fawn and a field
All bathed in magic light

The doe looks up and waits
A stranger has entered the scene
The fawn looks up, then nibbles again
The stranger savors the seconds

The doe leaves
The fawn follows
The memory lives

Hi Lyle! I just had to drop you a note, from a fellow Sask poet and amateur photographer! I have been hanging around the blogging world since January and you are the first photographer/poet from this neck of the woods that I have run across! Love your images and the captions are perfect.
